In constructing their global business, Airways Aviation called on pm to assist them with their global event strategy & execution.

Flight travel is forecast to increase three-fold in the next twenty years. At present, there are not enough pilot flight training facilities world-wide, to provide the pilots required to man the aircraft, that will meet the forecast demand.

Airways Aviation have set-out to build the world’s pre-eminent pilot training school. With schools in Australia, UK, UAE, Malaysia and the Balkans, the school is setting out to drastically multiply training facilities by 2016. In constructing the business, rolling out from late 2014 and into 2015, Airways Aviation called on pm to assist them with their event execution.

Appointed as the lead global event agency, pm was tasked with auditing the current range of events including trade shows, air shows, education fairs, along with forming an event strategy to cover the different event formats, new opportunities including youth training schemes, alumni and introductory flight days.

pm attended the Airways International conference at their UK training facility along with attending Airways Aviations events in Malaysia, to better understand the business, its goals and its current event expenditure. To date pm has delivered an audit based on the UK, UAE, Australian and Asian territories, an event strategy covering the first phase roll-out for 2015 and managed the first introductory flight event, a template to be rolled out world wide.
